Keep your characters from expiring if you want to be safe. If you’re the kind of gamer who isn’t into paying a full priced game and feel dissatisfied over it because of the lack of replay value, you will never feel that way with Diablo 2. I would not rely on the old policy of using uncommon names to prevent deletion since no one else will create a character with the same name. One of the great things about Diablo 2 is its insanely replayable even against 2022 released games. If your characters were not expired, maybe something else is going on, but it looks like they are just enforcing the inactivity purges more reliably now. I believe prior to this update, they were inconsistent with purging inactive accounts and characters, and often allowed them to exist well beyond the intended grace period. Fixed issues with clan service (Warcraft III) Well, I haven't played this game in a hell of a long time, back in May I decided to play again, I played for 2 months then stopped, I remembered 2 nights ago to log in so characters dont.New accounts will expire after 10 days instead of 2 to align with Diablo II character expirationĮnforce account purge after 90 days inactivity (with 7 day grace period) We will be upgrading the classic servers on the 22nd. It would work fine in pvm situations but not so good in pvp where 1 or 2 hits can potentially kill you. They recently changed the enforcement policy for character expiration. Weapons block is interesting, I just think it gives less control over when you want to use your charges. For something like phoenix strike you get smaller elemental explosions/effects for each charge you have. That way dragon tail is still good at clearing trash mobs and when you need to chunk down bosses you can release the skill. For example on stage 3 tiger strike you can get a passive 300% dmg bonus while you have its charged and the release gives you 1500%. The only build that this would mess with is dragon tail - tiger strike so I was thinking each “charge up” skill can give a smaller bonus per stage you are on as a passive. Once you are charged up you can activate any “charge up” skills to release the charges. I think that might make dragon talon much better than other finishers, so 1 combo point per use of skill might make it more balanced between the finishers. I was thinking 1 combo point per hit, so 1 dragon talon would give you 3 combo points.
